The Motorcycle Diaries: A Preview

The book 'The Motorcycle Diaries' by Ernesto Che Guevara seems to be about a young revolutionary whom wishes to explore his country, his culture, and his people via motorcycle and take a break from his medical studies. However, what he finds is something that is totally unknown to him. Poverty, crime, and corruption are all factors that he finds within the timespan of his travels. This will obviously be a turning point for him and the point of writing this book will be about his thoughts on government and social behavior. The methods he had used throughout history are those that I cannot agree with, however I do side with him with the fact that corruption in the government is a problem that must be dealt with. I don't think this book will appeal to me in particular, but I hope I am proven wrong.
